I am searching for advise with an Atomic 4 engine. I am considering taking over a boat which has been sitting in dry dock for some time now. The owner came down with health problems in 1994 or '96. A rebuilt Atomic 4 was installed in the boat somewhere around this time. I am told that they actually got it running at the time and ran it for a few minutes. Now the engine has sat for possibly 6 to 8 years. I would like to see if I can get it running. I am a little worried about starting an engine after all of this time. Do you have any suggestions for reducing engine damage in this case
