I have picked up a spare alternator. It is the stock motorola 35 amp, "model B",same as on my 1977 A4 in my boat. However, the voltage regulator is different. It is not the standard Motorola regulator. It is thinner, less than 1/2" thick, and has no fins, surface details or identifying marks. It mounts on alternator same. It has 1 insulated screw terminal projecting from it, clearly a wire connection. However, there are no connecting wires on the alternator or regulator. Does anyone know what kind of regulator this is, and how do I connect the alternator/regulator/battery connector ? Thanks.
