I just replaced my water pump impeller as well and I am having the same intermittent over heating problem.

I installed a brand new exhaust manifold from MMI( due to corrosion in old one). I have even disassembled my entire exhaust sytem and ran a garden house through it with no blockage. Thermostat is wide open. Any thoughts?
