Paul, drag it outside so you don't fill the garage with water and fumes. Take the water pickup hose in to a 5 gallon bucket along with the garden hose turned on slowly, then jumper cables to a battery to act as if in the boat, I used a lawnmower gas tank and gravity fed the fuel to the carb. Then a wire (switched if you want) from a hot to the coil, jump the small terminal on the starter to the hot and you should be running. As we are 6 hrs away from the new boat I made a harness for starting in the driveway- full set of gauges including tach and ran the motor for about 8 hrs to work out any sanfu's. This way when we go up and put it in we will align start and come back all independant of the nitemare wiring from the Po. Hope this helps! Craig
