Before you begin to re-build the Atomic4. I highly recommend that you go to www.moyermarine.com and purchase Don's Atomic4 Maintenance and Overhaul Manual. It costs $50.00, and it's well worth it!
If you want to go sailing and not do engine repairs, consider doing an engine exchange with Don Moyer and get a completely rebuilt motor from him. You'll never regret that decision!
