I am a first time boat owner. I just purchased a 1970 Ericson 35 with an Atomic 4 engine.

The atomic 4 stalls while motoring. Its starts back up right away but then stalls after a shor time - a minute to a couple of minutes. A few times it kept running for 10 - 20 minutes.

I would say in the course of 45 minutes of motoring, it stalled 20 times.

I am told the boat was well maintained up until 4-5 years ago when the owner became to old to sale. It has a new fuel tank that holds about 25 gallons.
