I live in the piedmont of NC and am winterizing for the first time. Previous owner said that he just stuck the intake hose into a gallon of antifreeze, started the engine and turned off after the gallon was empty. Boat stays in water and it rarely goes below 10 degrees here. Is that enough, or do I need to drain the block and manifold, then pump in 2-3 gallons for the winter.
