I should also mention that I always remove the spark plugs and put an couple ounces of Marvel Mystery Oil in each of the spark plug holes. I then only finger tightly install the plugs.
At before spring start up I remove the plugs again, put add a couple more ounces of MMO and with the plugs out and a rag over the top of the engine I hand crank it a few times to spread the oil and to remove any excess MMO. The rag is important to stop MMO from spraying all over the engine comparment.
A note of caution:
YOU MUST REMOVE THE EXCESS MMO BEFORE RE-INSTALLING THE SPARK PLUGS TO AVOID DAMAGING THE ENGINE.
The reason is fluids don't compress.
