Well, it's time to winterize my sailboat, so i did the one last oil change of the season, and to my surprise, the oil was greyish!
What could have happened?
I read in a previous post that long cranking trying to start can cause this. Is this true"? If so, I may not have a problem right?
I can just watch it closely to make sure it doesn't become grey again. Is this something I need to be concerned with? I've changed the oil for a few years now, and it's always been fine(clear/blackish). Oh, this A4 is fresh lake water cooled.
And I was able to remove 5 quarts of this milky oil whereas previously I was only able to remove 3 quarts. And the dipstick was 2 quarts above the full mark!
Thanks for any help you can provide.
