Anyone have an idea on why the engine might start sounding like she is starving for gas when the throttle is wide open. Just ran a 17 mile river trip from the Boat yard on my Ericson 35. Ran fine at about 7/8s full throttle. Started to act up once the throttle was pushed to wide open the last 1/2 mile of the trip. Went back to being ok when I throttled down. Just rid of the points and condenser an put Electronic ignition on. Not sure if that could cause the problem. The fuel situation should be OK. had Stable and Heet in the tank and had a new fuel filter and new plugs put on. Again, she ran fine for the first 16.5 miles
