I would check the point gap first. What could be stopping the current path from there to the plugs could be a bad rotor, dist cap, (look for small cracks or carbon tracks inside) or bad connections at the high tension lead or plug wires. The spark at the points is low voltage used to trigger the high voltage in the coil. check down the holes in the coil and dist for corrosion. If all these things check out and still no spark the coil is suspect. will
