I have a 1974 atomic 4. recently the engine died while in use. By removing the plugs I determined that there is no spark. However there is a spark at my points. I have an oil filled coil that is used without a resistor. I'm not sure if it is working properly, because it gets very hot when the ignition is on. is this normal? Any ideas where I could be loosing my spark?
