My neighbor is a deisel Mechanic and after several years of r&d came up with what he thought would be a way to convert a gas engine to run on cooking oil. Actually just about any oil. He thought the A4 was a perfect candidate because of many things but primarily the thickness of the head. We installed the conversion last year and its running trouble free ever since. Best of all the fuel is free from local restaurants. The conversion including the new firing devices is $139 + shipping with complete instructions. With just a few common tools and about two hours and your all set.
