No Spark. New external resistor coil, has resistance of about 1.5, new cap, rotor, and points (gapped at .019), all leads show continuity, have 12 volts at altenator with engine switched on. Does coil need to be grounded..... everthing is freshly painted, and there is no continuity between engine and coil body, could low voltage leads be showing continuity but not have the required resistance? She splashes next Thursday!!!!! Yeah!!!! Thanks
