I took the valve inspection cover off the side of my engine and found one of the valves stuck wide open. The spring is fully compressed and the valve stem is much higher than the valves normally travel as they open and close.

Can this be fixed with the head on, or should I wait until the end of the season so I can take the head off and start cleaning everything out?
