Attached to my oil fill cap is a hose...at the end of the hose is a brass fitting with male threads on it...what is this for, and where should it be screwed into?On long motoring trips the engine compartment gets pretty smoky with exhaust, and I think that this might be one of the sources. The Atomic 4 doesn't have a PCV system, and my theory is that the oil filler tube is intended to route blowby gases somewhere, but where?
