Terry, I installed the crank case ventilation kit and ended up sucking oil into my manifold and carburator. That is why I asked if you had installed it. The way it is set up is that it sucks the oil fumes into a flange plate between the carb and manifold. In my case (and it is the only one I've heard this happened to)it sucked oil up, coated my intake valves requiring me to open the engine, and gummed up the carb killing the idle jet.
