My '64 engine was rebuilt a few years ago. My mechanic had no problem replacing the exhaust manifold ($340 in '99) but I don't know his source. You might check with Moyer Marine. They list only the late model manifold, but Don may be able to help you.

I installed an electronic ignition from Indigo Electronics in '98. My rebuild mechanic was sufficiently impressed that he told me a couple of years ago that he had installed several himself. He and I have been very satisfied. Frankly I have always hated points and the electronic system has been absolutely trouble free.
