Subject:   Poorly Running A4

I am considering purchasing a Cat 27-1976 that has an atomic 4 that is supposedly in poor shape. I haven't tried to start it because the battery is dead, but it looks nearly rust free.

I was just wondering if there might some minor things I could do to make it last a few years without a total rebuild.
