You should check compression in each cylinder. You may well have a ring problem that will show up as low compression in the cylinder that is giving you the worst problem. Although I never noticed a sticking valve, I was getting fast carbon build up on 1 or 2 cylinders. No amount of carburator, ignition or fuel changes helped significantly, but a rebuild of the engine sure did.
