Recently I installed a carborator kit in my A4. After the instal I started the moter for a test run (ran great) and soon began to smell something burning. I shut-down the motor and observed smoke pooring from what looked like the fiberglass tape covered exhaust elbow directly behind the flange on the manifold. I could not smell exhaust, here was no water leaking and normal flow exiting the boat. I'm going to go ahead and replace all of the galvinized exhaust pipe, but I would appreciate anyones thoughts on the matter. Thanks
