I have this same problem. I think it is a function of the cable being too loose. But I am not sure. This appears to be a finite adjustment at both ends of the cable. I have tried tightening and loosening, but have not determined which is the cause. Tightening seems to improve it though....or maybe it was the other way around. I dunno.
