I bought a 1978 Catalina 30 withan Atomic 4 Engine. 10 miles out of the marina my A-4 siezed up. I have been told I need to have it either rebuilt or replaced. I would like to remove it myself,and I was hoping some one might know where I could find instruction of how to remove it from my boat. Also, is there special precautions I need to take when removing it. I read on some specifications, I found on-line, my engine weight is approx. 330 lbs. Is there a trick to removing it from my cabin? Also, I have been looking into electric engines, would any of you know anything about that. Right now my main concern is cost. I really don't want to spend a whole lot of money. Thanks
