Most leaks on that side of the engine come from the water jacket cover plate which is on that side of the engine under the alternator. It is possible that the leak is coming from the head or head studs but more likely from the cover plate. The bolts on the cover plate are known to rust away and frequently break off when removing the cover plate to replace the gasket. Many people drill out these broken bolts and replace them with epoxied in bronze studs. The leak should really be fixed since I have heard of blocks rusting through from the outside from leaks on this side of the engine.
