I'm having trouble changing the oil. I have a 1978 Catalina 27, with a gas A-4, the drain plug is too close to the side where the engine is mounted that I can't get it off. Further more, there is still gold paint on the plug, that indicates to me that the plug has never been removed. I'm I missing something? Is there another way to change the oil without removing the drain plug?
