I's hard to believe that the engine is causing the vibration. Something would have to be very wrong. The A-4's are very smooth running. My '64 (in a Cheoy Lee) is on solid beds and bolted down tight. I would be suspicious about alignment, a failing cutlass bearing, or almost anything else before suspecting the engine.
