Neal, I would change the oil first off then start and run it for a bout an hour. Then change the oil again and run it again. Then change the oil and use the boat your main concern is going to be corrosion from wet wires ect. that's why you should run it so long, 1st to get the water out of the oil, 2nd to dry everything out. FWIW.
