I have a 1964 A4 that runs like a champ.It is original to my Hinterhoeller 28. I recently noticed that it has no motor mounts. The engine is directly bolted to very substantial mahogony beams. At max boat speed it does generate vibration and a bit of noise. The shaft and prop are strait and the vibration is purely from the engine. Is it worth putting in proper rubber mounts?
