Good luck with your water temp problem ! I have had the same problem for the past 5 yr5s. and have no luck with raising the temp other than to add a valve in the bypass hose, and believe me I have tried everything.!!! Using the valve it is an easy task to regulate the water temp to 150 and have it remain there. There doesn't appear to be any untoward reaction to the motor.
