I've had good success by taking the cover off the transmission and using an oil hand pump purchased at West Marine. As you know, the engine and transmission oil are common. With the angle of my engine, I just place the extraction hose near the rear of the tranny and pump away. I get about 4 qts. You can purchase a new gasket from Moyer or make your own out of cork. There are also other extraction methods, see Moyer's website.
