I sail on Lake Ontario and the boat is on the hard for the winter.
This summer I noticed water dripping from somewhere under the pump - impossible to look underneat.
To winterize I run Prestone through the system and now the coloured stuff is leaking from the same place. It seems to be coming from a slot underneat and forward of the grease cup.
Can anyone help with some ideas as to the problem.
If left unattended will it drain the whole system ?
What is the cause ?
If I take off the pump will all the anti freeze drain out ?
I noticed the when I changed my impeller in the Spring that the impeller shaft was scored down it's length.
