The water pump seal can be bad (they have 2 seals)and oil can exit there, a weep hole is on the bottom of the pump (oberdorfer). The shift shafts can leak even with new seals as they seem to corrode to fast. Some mechanics insist on no sealer on the gaskets. Silly. The fuel pump, (mechanical) can leak oil if the small return hole in the side of the block is blocked with too much sealer from the gasket. Some types of electrical oil pressure sending units can crack and leak if they are not tightened properly. Is your oil breather tube right on the flame arrestor?
