Hello all:
It's a few years since I posted on this board, so hello again.
I have an A-4 for sale. I bought it as a spare. It is located in Lima, NY
about 20 miles south of Rochester NY. It includes the complete running
motor and an extra reversing gear, alternator (there's a new one on the
motor), and I think an extra starter.
I bought it from a person who told me that the engine had been gone thru and
it was in good condition. I have not run the engine myself, but I did
believe and trust the seller. His story is confirmed by the visual
appearance of the engine. It has a fresh coat of paint and has the
appearance of an engine that has been disassembled and rebuilt.
I have been storing it in a friend's barn and he is selling the property.
My plan to move it to my own garage in Denver has been thwarted by some
medical issues. The engine would need to be picked up by July 19th. I may
be able to extend this deadline by a week or 10 days, but if I did, I would
not be around to facilitate the pick-up.
The engine is fastened to a pallet with a box (minus the top) around it.
