Can not help you on much except that I saw an Atomic II a couple months ago. It had never been in a boat and was painted like new. It was cute and was going in a boat soon. 1/8 npt means 1/8 national pipe thread. It is a tapered thread that gets tighter as it is tightened. If you go down to your friendly local hardware store and tell them you want a brass fitting 1/8 npt with a 1/4 hose barb on the other end, no problem. You should also know if you want a straight fitting or a 90 degree fitting. depends on which way you want your hose to go.
