I am about to replace the filter element on my Racor Water/Separator filter. My fuel system is setup such that my electric fuel pump "pulls" fuel from my gas tank, through the Racor, through the pump and then to the carb. My question is: Do I need to "Prime" the dry Racor filter before I mount the unit or will my electric fuel pump prime the filter and line?
