I have the same problem... its not bad. I just notice a change in rpm from low to high and back down to low again when I have the engine at idle.. either in gear or out of gear. Give it any amount of throttle and she is steady as a rock. I have suspected carb. and its on my list to do a cleaning. Carbs intimidate me, so I am reluctant to do it, but I understand that the A-4 carb is relatively simple to work on.
