Here's an old trick. put the nuts back on, and tighten a second nut up with the original. Then put a wrench on the "bottom" nut. You should be able to back the stud out without using a puller which may damage the threads. Don't forget that you will probably have to replace the head gasket. Have you tried simply pouring some Marvel Mystry Oil into the plug hole and letting it sit for a day or so? It might free it up.
