Today while motoring, the A4 began to "Bog" whenever I increased the throttle. It was beginning to really run rough, and each time I throttled up it ran rough and acted as though it was going to die. Fearing that it was soon going to shut down, I headed for the nearest slip, when suddenly my Gas Fume Detector sounded immediately followed by the Carbon Monoxide alarm. Fearing the thing was soon to explode, I shut her down and drifted into the slip, and later got towed home. I never tried to start it again, and I smell no unusual gas or other fumes in the blower exhaust or engine compartment. What happened? What should I do to fix the thing?
Thanks,
