I have a problem my coil gets so hot you cant touch it. I have looked at the manual, they show the Alternator with a regulator and then the coil I have no regulator anywhere on this boat. So someone throw a dog a bone I am stumped I figure the alternator has a built in regulator but the coil being that hot has me by the short hairs. The coil is a standard 12V Sorenson non resistor about ten bucks at Advanced auto the last coil was a coil for an Atomic from some after market company around thirty five bucks and it failed also.
