Hope someone can help...I sail a Northren 29 (1975)
with the engine compartment midships...easy to get at but sometimes the smell is to much to take when under power. The small space under the bulkheads in the bilge....sort of a half round cut out allows only enough room for the two bilge pump hoses and a couple of electric wires to pass through so the three inch flex to vent the bilge and engine compartment ends up sucking air through a very small space and does not do the job very well. Is there anyone else out there with a Northren 29 who has solved this problem ? Thanks Pete
