Ooops. I detailed the Cam-Bearrings bore alignment when you might have been asking about timing marks!
The A4 is beautifully simple. All thats required to "Time" the short block is to ensure the two circular punch marks on the cam gear and crankshaft gear come together when the gears mesh.
