I have 71 CAL 29, and it starts very well, but under load in forward in has tendancy to stall.
I have replaced points, coil, wires, plugs, cap, tighten every nut and bolt on the fuel system, replaced fuel filter.
The motor sounds like it is loading up,drops RPM, if you can get into nuetral you can keep it running. Would it be the transmission requires adjustment, as it quite difficult to shift?
The motor runs fine in reverse. Any ideas
