It is absolutely wrong to have your fuel pump wired the way it is. In fact, it's against Coast Guard regulations!

Wire the from the + side of the coil and make sure there is an oil pressure safety switch installed in the circuit.

Any questions, visit Don Moyer's website and look under the parts sections for electric fuel pump kits...you'll be able to see how it should be hooked up.

I'm sorry fo being so direct but, the way it's currently set up is very, very dangerous!
