Anyone ever have an oil leak near or behind the water pump? I replaced the seals on the Oberdorfer and shaft seemed fine. Problem is I can't tell if the leak is behind the pump (gasket) or from the weep hole. My local mechanic tells me that there's no oil pressure at this location and that it's simply splash oil. The leak is rather significant, and besides putting oil in the bilge, I'm losing significant oil from the motor. I'm thinking of simply replacing the entire unit unless I'm looking in the wrong place. Any thoughts? Any experience? Sincerely, Carlos Peinado
