My 1976 A-4 in a C&C 27 has begun to overheat. First noticed steam coming of exhaust!! Awaiting a new thermostat. Any other suggestions on what to check? Any advice on how I can actually get at the water pump to check impellar? I've read in this message board about flushing to clear water lines/jacket etc. Can anyone tell me what the proper procedure is? and can Myradic acid be used on an installed engine i.e. with all hoses and gaskets in place?
Any help would be appreciated.Larry
