I have just changed the coil/points and capacitor. The engine was not running well and when I pulled #1 and #2 plug wires off, there was no differance in the engines sound. I ran a compression test and #1-0psi, #2-115psi, #3-115psi and #4-115psi.
I pulled the plug on #1 and the valve is stuck open, so that explains that problem, but my query is why does removing the lead on #2 make no differance, the plug is giving a strong spark
